Alltel has just announced that customers who are on My Circle plans for $79.99 or higher will be awarded with unlimited text, picture, and video messaging. This applies to everyone in your My Circle, and all other Alltel Wireless customers.
Family lines apart of a $79.99 or higher plan will also be eligible for unlimited My Circle and mobile-to-mobile messaging, even if an Alltel Message Pack is not included in your plan. This is an attempt to cater to family’s on budgets who want to stay connected.
Alltel offers a variety of flexible options, including 2-year postpaid handset pricing with a 1-year contract. They have also recently begun to offer HTC Snap smartphones, the Samsung Freeform, and the BlackBerry Tour. Most are available with mail in rebates up to $100, after activating on a 1-year Contract. An affordable option is the Samsung Freeform which comes in teal and red for only $19.99 after mail-in rebate. The BlackBerry Tour is $149.99 after $100 mail-in rebate, and the HTC Snap is only $79.99 after $70 mail-in rebate. Alltel is a big competitor in the cellphone market for both prices and service.
